Did anyone hear about the proposed rule to change the forex margin requirements?
Large coin dealers are seriously concerned that kill margin requirements retail in the U.S. instead of providing protection to the customer you want. They have formed the Coalition of the Foreign Exchange Dealers (FXDC) to provide a unified front in Congress. On the other hand, the March 22, 2010, in a letter to Mr. David Stawick secretary of the CFTC, Mr. Thomas Sexton Vice President of the NFA writes that "the NFA commends the Commission for proposing such rules, which both provide important protections for retail customers, and achieve greater safety industry regulation to retail currency. "This obviously contradicts the arguments of FXDC. Most retailers also do not believe that this rule proposal will protect them because they move their foreign exchange accounts of foreign waters that are at the mercy of sharks on the currency. This could lead the destruction of industry retail foreign exchange in the U.S.. So far no decision has been taken, and the entire community is wait and see mode.
